Applications for the 2025 Award are still being accepted

Applications for the XI International Award "Small Energy – Great Achievements" are still being accepted. This year, the Award has undergone a number of changes: for the first time, an independent industry award will be presented in seven categories, and the International Expert Council has been expanded with new names. However, its main goal remains unchanged — to identify the best industry projects of the year, create a platform for sharing experiences and strengthening the potential of the scientific and engineering community.

The International Award "Small Energy – Great Achievements" has been held since 2013 and during this time has become a key platform for the presentation of the most significant achievements in one of the most dynamically developing industries — small distributed and renewable energy.

The organizers of the competition are the Association of Small Energy and the All-Russian public Organization "Business Russia". Over the past 11 years, 672 companies and organizations from 12 countries have participated in the Award, 43 of which have become winners and holders of the main award — the Golden Lightning statuette.

"Small energy – great achievements" is not just an Award. This is a professional community, an exchange of experience and recognition of those who, with their projects and solutions, develop the distributed energy industry and move it forward. Every year, our contestants make an invaluable contribution to the sustainable future of our country," said Maxim Zagornov, the organizer of the Award, President of the Small Energy Association.

• The best project in the field of small distributed energy with a capacity of up to 5 MW.;
• The best project in the field of small distributed energy with a capacity of more than 5 MW;
• The best project in the field of renewable energy, storage devices and electric transport;
• Domestic development in the field of small distributed energy;
• Investor of the Year in the field of small distributed energy;
• Research development in the field of small distributed energy;
• The best information project in the field of small distributed energy.

A new nomination, established this year, deserves special attention for information projects and events covering key industry topics. Journalistic materials, blogs, telegram channels, webinars, conferences and other initiatives promoting small distributed and renewable energy in Russia and beyond can participate in it.

Companies and organizations working in the field of small distributed and renewable energy, as well as research institutes and higher educational institutions are invited to participate in the Award. The project submitted for the application must be implemented in the period from 2024 to 2025. Participation in the Award is traditionally free.

The winners will be determined by an independent vote of the members of the International Expert Council, whose membership has been expanded this year. It includes leading experts and analysts in the field of small distributed energy, representatives of the business community, heads of major energy companies, as well as Russian and foreign scientists.
