The Kolomensky Plant will present gas piston power plants and diesel engine repair solutions at the Heat&Power-2025 exhibition.

Kolomensky Zavod, one of the oldest and largest transport engineering companies in Russia, will participate in the 10th Anniversary International Exhibition of Industrial Boiler, Heat Exchange, and Power Generating Equipment, Heat&Power-2025.

Today, Kolomensky Zavod is a unique center of excellence in engine manufacturing and holds over 50% of the CIS medium-speed diesel engine market.

Over 45,000 power units for various applications, manufactured at the plant over its 120-year history, are successfully used in diesel locomotive construction, marine and river vessels, quarry equipment, and small-scale and nuclear power generation.

At the exhibition, the company will present its modern EGPK-9 gas piston power plants, designed for primary and backup power supply for industrial enterprises and communities. The power units used are 1-9GMG gas piston engine-generators based on D49 series diesel engines.

Key features of the power plants:

operation in both standalone mode and in parallel with the grid or other power plants;
modular design, allowing for transportation by road or waterway, reducing installation time on-site;
distributed fuel gas supply system, ensuring high quality and stability of electrical power;
heat generation by recovering energy from exhaust gases and the engine's hot circuit.

These solutions ensure a high level of reliability and operational efficiency, making them competitive with imported counterparts.

A separate area of Kolomensky Zavod's activity is in-plant diesel engine repair. To this end, the company has created a fully modernized production facility with seven specialized sections: fuel system, cylinder-piston group, crankshafts, charge air coolers, oil pumps, timing gear, and diesel engine disassembly. This approach allows for both intermediate and major repairs, restoring engine life to like-new levels.

A well-developed engineering base and modern component machining technologies ensure high-quality and reliable repairs, which are particularly in demand among industrial enterprises and companies operating diesel and gas piston generator sets.
