19 December 2025
On December 17, in Moscow, at the headquarters of Delovaya Rossiya, the results of the XI International Award "Small Energy — great Achievements" were summed up.

The prestigious award for the best projects in the field of distributed and renewable energy was established by the Small Energy Association with the support of the business association "Business Russia" and aroused great interest among relevant energy companies, businesses and authorities.

Despite the fact that the 2025 Award is taking place against the backdrop of difficult processes in the Russian economy, the competition has confirmed its relevance to the industry community – this year the Organizing Committee received 65 applications from 16 regions of Russia. The geography of the implemented projects covers the most remote territories of the country — from Antarctica, Chukotka and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to the Republic of Adygea, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Krasnodar, Bashkortostan, Tambov, Smolensk and other cities.

"This year's Award applications have shown that the industry is already relying on its own technological base, is actively implementing import substitution programs, and is confidently meeting the needs of industry and territories for reliable energy supply. Small — scale generation facilities are being built all over the country, and the development of distributed energy stimulates the growth of domestic engineering, expands engineering competencies and creates new jobs," said Maxim Zagornov, the organizer of the competition, President of the Association of Small Energy.
