Sergey Tsivilev held a working meeting with deputy Ministers and heads of energy companies. The event was dedicated to the results of 2025 and the priority areas of the industry in 2026.

Special attention was paid to the implementation of programs planned for 2026, taking into account the projected increase in electricity consumption and the need for advanced development of energy infrastructure.

"In the near future, we will adjust all our programs and strategies and make the necessary changes," the Minister said, noting that they will also address the needs of data centers.

"We need to understand how many data centers we need to build on the territory of the Russian Federation, in what time frame and how we will provide them with electricity," stressed the Head of the Ministry of Energy.

The issues of forming a long-term industry order as a tool for ensuring sustainable utilization of fuel and energy sector enterprises and synchronization of investment plans of the state and business were considered separately.

In addition, the meeting participants discussed issues of security and anti-terrorist protection of facilities of the fuel and energy complex.

In conclusion, Sergey Tsivilev outlined 2026 as a stage of practical implementation of previously approved strategic documents: "We are beginning the transition from the formation of strategic solutions to their consistent implementation in the industry."
