Data Center Equipment Market: structural restructuring

Until 2022, more than 80% of data center projects consisted of equipment from Western brands.
A year later, 70% of projects are implemented using solutions localized in Russia.
The share of equipment from friendly countries is 10-20%.
Individual segments, such as uninterruptible power supplies, batteries, metal structures, and fiber-optic cables, have been replaced by more than 70%.
According to forecasts, by 2030, Russian data centers can receive up to 55% of the domestic filling in value terms.

At the same time, there is a shortage of technologically complex solutions. Many data center projects have become easier architecturally. In addition, companies often refuse to upgrade and choose equivalent equipment instead of purchasing next-generation equipment.

Russian manufacturers benefit from a well-developed service network and local presence. The availability of warranty service and the availability of components determine the customer's choice.

The growth of data centers directly increases the load on power systems and increases the demand for modern technical solutions.
