Heat&Power 2017: Exhibition Area Doubles, Number of Visitors Rise 19%

From 24–26 October 2017, Heat&Power 2017, the only exhibition of industrial boilers, heat-exchange and power generation equipment in Russia was held in Moscow with great success. The event was organised by ITE Group, the leading provider of exhibition services in the Russian market.

Heat&Power 2017 was attended by representatives of 85 companies from 8 countries. The total exhibition area was near 3,000 sq. m. Construction, operation, repair, and modernisation equipment for boiler houses, heat supply stations, autonomous power supply systems, and CHP plants were presented to professionals.

Alexey Sitnikov, a Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Vsevolod Pleshivtsev, First Deputy Head of the Department of Housing, Utilities and Amenities for Moscow, Dmitri Airapetyants, Deputy Minister of Energy of Moscow Oblast, Dmitri Golubkov, Director General of Mosoblgaz, the Moscow Oblast gas supply facility, and other honorary guests took part in the festive opening ceremony.

Saying his welcome speech to guests and participants of the exhibition, Dmitri Airapetyants, the Deputy Energy Minister, noted that continuous energy supply, energy security, production efficiency improvement were necessary to make economy work. Therefore, the International Exhibition of boiler, heat exchange and electric energy generating equipment, Heat&Power, catered for professionals responsible for continuous heat and energy supply was a timely and demanded event, the Deputy Minister emphasized.

Over three days, Heat & Power Exhibition was attended by 2,659 visitors from 27 countries and 63 regions of Russia. It was 19% higher than in the previous year. Participants admitted that the exhibition justified their expectations completely due to a very high percentage of professional audience. Heat&Power exhibitors’ satisfaction is represented by filled out applications of participants to take part in the 2018 exhibition with many of them double their exhibit areas.

Over the short time the exhibition visitors could get familiar with and evaluate technical specifications of the exhibited equipment – industrial boilers and burners using different types of fuel; auxiliary engineering equipment for boilers, CHPs; electric power generation equipment; as well as choose a vendor to handle heat and power supply tasks of their companies.

Heat&Power was held jointly with seven other industrial exhibitions on one site: Mashex Moscow, PCVExpo, Power Electronics, ExpoCoating Moscow, Fasttec, Testing&Control and NDT Russia. Over the three days these industrial exhibitions were visited by over 17,000 specialists.

Business programme events accompanying Heat&Power, added up-to-date and reliable industry information needed by specialists to solve their professional problems.

Over the three days, international research-to-practice conferences “Energy Efficiency in Housing and Utility Infrastructure”, “Innovative Equipment for Construction, Repair and Modernisation of Boiler Houses, Heat Supply Units, Energy Farms and CHP Plants” and “Independent Power Generation as Highly Profitable Business and a Tool for Double Reduction of Energy Consumption” were held with great success. Experts from Russia, Belarus, Germany and Italy participated in the conferences.

The 3rd International Exhibition of Industrial Heat Exchange and Boiler and Electric Power Generation Equipment, HEAT&POWER, will be held on 23–25 October 2018 at Crocus-Expo International Exhibition Center.
