In 2019, it is planned to allocate more than 590 million rubles from the regional treasury for modernization and overhaul of municipal heating networks - almost 3 times more than in 2018.

On May 21, Governor Igor Rudenya in Moscow participated in a meeting at PJSC Gazprom, chaired by Viktor Zubkov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company. The issues of modernization of the heat and power complex of the region with the participation of Gazprom were discussed. 

Following the meeting, it was decided to conduct an audit of the heat and power complex of the region. In addition, a plan will be drawn up for upgrading the energy infrastructure of the Tver region. This will improve the efficiency of the use of thermal resources of the Upper Volga region. 

Since 2017, the region has been supporting municipalities to carry out major repairs and modernization of heat and power complex facilities. In 2018, within the framework of the regional program, 24 facilities in 13 municipalities were overhauled.
